Child Labor

I got a break from vaccuuming today! Landon decided he wanted to do it so we plugged in the little vaccuum and let him go to town! He spent half of the afternoon getting in all the cracks and crannies of our living room, using only the tiny little hose and no attachment! It took him forever, but he finished the whole room (even the giant amount of dried black eyed peas he had spilled everywhere while making "dinosaur fossils"!) ;o)

Notice in the pictures that at one point he decided it was more efficient to pick up little pieces of dirt with his fingers and put them directly into the vaccuum hose! It was so funny to watch him concentrate so hard! The last picture is his famous "camera face". You will never see him looking any different if he's posing--Ha ha ha!

You're teaching him wrong. He's supposed to pick up stuff with his toes, roll over it 8-9 times with the vacuum cleaner, ANYTHING but bending down to pick it up with his hands. It's like an unspoken vacuuming rule.

Stacey--Yeah, I always follow that rule, but Landon always like to live on the edge! :oP (But he gets chased around afterwards with the antibacterial soap! It's tough living with two male piggies!) LOL :o)

lol - LOVE THIS! My landen does the same thing. He even gets the laundry out of the dryer, helps empty the dishwasher, and his official job is to wash the windows because he's the one that slobbers on them. Haha! Gotta let them do it while they think it's fun, right? =) Your little guy is such a cutie! I love "Child Labor" as your title.. watch out those child labor laws will come and get ya. =)

LOL...TOO cute! Isn't it amazing the things that interest them t this age? Jack went through a vacuuming stage, too...although after the absolute cuteness of it wore off, it became kind of a hindrence since I could never do a "quick" vacuum anymore! He was always right there insisting "My do it by self!!!" and I had to beg and plead to use it! Man, if only this male love of housework was permanent :)
