Even though it's been over 90 degrees this week, I am wasting no time decorating for Halloween! (Gotta get a move on so I can jumpstart Christmas). (I've already been listening to Christmas music). (Hey, shut up). Landon picked out three pumpkins for us at The Fresh Market today and we spent some time after dinner painting them (and watching The Biggest Loser--Woo Hoo!! We're addicted!). Here are some pictures of our masterpieces:

Aw! Looks like so much fun! Dumb question-what type of paint did you use for the pumpkin?
And gee, that Lightning McQueen is pretty darn good! ;)
I admit-I almost played my Christmas CD the other day, too. I got distracted quickly by some 3yo w/ jelly hands...
Ha ha ha, Sharon, you know Lightening McQueen? We are a little obsessed with him at the Pfaffl House right now! (At least you recognized him! I thought people might think I was into Nascar or something!). Anyhoo, it's just non-toxic tempura/poster paint. It really needs some kind of fixative spray, though, b/c it's probably not the best kind of paint to use--just safest with toddlers, you know? We're trying to have a party for kids to paint pumpkins and decorate cookies soon :o)
I have to agree with Sharon...good job on the Lightning McQueen!! Jack is just a little obsessed with him as well :) Did you paint that free hand??? Wow!
You are an awesome artist. My hubby is good, but lets just say - I stick with stick people. haha!
We should paint pumpkins, we carve them but never did the paintings. Maybe next week Landen and I will have a fun time doing that. =)
