How about the nice headache you get from it? :oP
I found this on the Nature Moms Blog and thought I'd pass the link on to all of you (especially to my readers who are parents).
If you don't feel like reading the blog post (it isn't very long though), just click here for a quick run down of what the warnings are.
Too-da-loo! :o)

Thanks for the link.
I'm not surprised by it, but I didn't think of it before.
I don't know, though. I want to protect my family from all I can, but at the same time, when it comes to dodging EVERYTHING, it does seem borderline paranoid to me. Well-intentioned, but almost overboard.
Who knows. Maybe it's also because we don't have the money to go out and pay for an organic or hemp shower curtain. I suppose if we were more well off financially, I'd opt for that.
So are you changing yours?
I am more of the school of thought that if something SPECIFIC comes along (not just a "this might be a little bad" kind of thing) I really do try to change it. We WANT to change the shower curtain thing, but haven't yet--I am really sensitive to chemicals and when we get a new shower curtain, I almost can't stand it--I get migraines and feel really sick--I always just thought it was the "smell", you know? But because of Kelly Baird, I have done tons of research this year about PVCs and other plastics and I cannot believe what I've found!!! It's like when I first started the vaccine search, I'm serious! So many people in my family have had weird kinds of cancer that I'm trying to dodge what I can, especially with Landon. If these small things can really make a difference, I really want to do it, you know? I might BE one of the over-paranoid ones---ha ha ha! Motherhood will do it to ya! But do check out some of the research that's been done on plastics--It took me a while to buy into it, but WOAH--There's some pretty hard evidence now--The shower curtain is just the newest...kind of the tip of the iceburg---Paranoid mama signing off now :oD
LOL - you read my mind!
